Texas Environmental Law states that you must have a trip-ticket, or "NonHazardous Waste Control Ticket" given
to you at the time your system is cleaned. This "Ticket" goes with your sludge as it travels across country. The
Health Dept. may require a copy, so it is very important that you keep the one we give you.
NOTE: The NonHazardous
Waste Control Ticket comes in 5 copies. YOU GET THE TOP COPY, the disposal site gets one, we [the transporter] get one,
the health department gets one, and YOU GET THE BOTTOM COPY with all the other signatures. This bottom copy takes awhile,
however, to make the rounds of everyone's office for signatures, so IF THE HEALTH DEPT NEEDS A COPY, you
can show them your TOP COPY becuase it will be over a month, maybe 6 weeks before the bottom copy returns
to you.
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SHOWING THE HEALTH DEPT YOUR COPY OF THE NHWCT. We
will mail them their copy after the papers have made the rounds, but this usually takes more than a month.
